Scenic Drives

Vermont's roads are like no place else.

Vermont is the perfect place for touring the roads.

Scenic routes offer everything from sweeping forests and farmland vistas,to intimate meanderings through villages, historic downtowns, farms and orchards. There are lots of opportunities for side excursions – diners, barbeque and cafes; antique and curio shops; fruit and vegetable stands; and trailheads for swimming holes, waterfalls, hikes and valley views. Great for motorcycle and antique car enthusiasts too! Click below to find 20 scenic drives from 30 to 210 miles, directions along with attractions along the way.

Please Note! Due to road construction, scenic tours 1 through 7, 9 and 14 described on the map may have sections that are closed or have limited access.

However, the situation is changing daily; please check current conditions here.  While travelling, stop by local information centers to get suggested itineraries in their region.
